Our FREE LIVE Streaming Video Coverage Of The Spring Fling Million In Las Vegas Continues Today! 5-Days Of FREE RACING!!!

That’s right folks, we’re SUPER excited to be bringing you 5 days of awesome bracket racing from The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at the 2021 K&N Spring Fling Million presented by Optima Batteries. While the big show starts on Wednesday, we’ll be live on Tuesday afternoon for the American Race Cars, Todd’s Extreme Custom Paint, Dragster Shootout Race. The winner will take home a rolling American Race Cars 240″ Dragster chassis with a complete custom paint job by Todd’s. This is a big shootout for 32 cars and will be the perfect way to start off the weekend here in Vegas.

We will be live Tuesday afternoon, and then all day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for all the racing action. Check out the flyer below for details on the payout and event prizes, but know that Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday racers will be going after $30,000 to win. Friday is the big money Million race which has a guaranteed purse of $250,000 to the winner regardless of entries. We’re pretty sure this race is going to be off the hook based on our last west coast race this year. Given the fact that all the heavy hitters are heading cross country for it as well, this promises to be one hell of an event.

SDBA Drag Boat Races Will Be LIVE Here On BANGshift Starting Sunday Morning!

That’s right folks, we’ve got more Southern Drag Boat Association racing coming to you live right here at BANGshift.com. We were live Saturday morning and will be live again Sunday morning around 9 am Central Time. We had an awesome time bringing you their Paris Texas event a few months ago and are happy to announce that their El Reno Oklahoma event this Saturday and Sunday will be LIVE in it’s entirety right here! We cannot stress enough just how cool it is to watch the drag boats hauling ass across the water. We’re talking 3 second 1/8 mile boats, and all kinds of combinations. Hydros, Jets, Flat bottoms, Pro Mods, Super Stock, and so much more. The racing action is fun, the scenery is cool, and the people are an absolute riot.

When we did the event in Paris, the welcome that we got from everyone at the SDBA, and the racers in general, was absolutely amazing. They treated us like family, fed us, welcomed us with open arms, and were so genuinely thrilled to have us on site that most were acting like kids in a candy store.

This weekend is supposed to be in the low 80’s, with great conditions for racing on the water, and I’m looking forward to seeing what kind of record breaking runs we might see. Tune in Saturday morning, at 8 am Central, as we kick off the racing action. You won’t want to miss it.

We Hit The Starting Line At Bonneville Speed Week 2020! Action Starts Right Here!

It’s that time folks! Racing has finally started at Bonneville Speed Week and we are so excited about the racing action that we couldn’t help but snag some photos to share all the greatness. With cars making their first passes down the salt Saturday morning, it was time to see just what the salt could handle and how much power everyone had to throw at it. Remember, make one hit over a record speed and you are going to Impound for inspection and certifications so that you can back it up the next morning for an official record. The earlier to you qualify for the record, the earlier you can pack up the trailer and start the drinking and socializing. You also get to limit your exposure to the hot Utah sun if you so choose.

We’re excited to see everything from a Roadster to the Speed Demon Streamliner going after big numbers. We’ll see how conditions manifested today and how many guys and gals can back it up tomorrow to take the record. Once again we’re sad not to be there ourselves this year, but luckily our dude Wes Allison was able to make things happen and show us all the hot action and cool cars that showed up this year.

Original Post

Yep, the sad news that Drag Week 2020 was cancelled happened a few days ago, and it makes us sad but is not surprising. With one of the tracks closing for the year weeks ago, and at least one other track wanting to get out of holding the event, there wasn’t much hope on our end that this thing was actually going to happen. But thinking it would be cancelled and it actually getting cancelled are two different things and so it sucks for everyone that counts on this event each and every year. In this video you’ll see Alex and Dennis Taylor talking about the event, the cancellation, and hinting at something else that is maybe possibly kinda in the works. Trust me, that isn’t a click bait routing any more than the video title is. There is something in the works to try and salvage the time off and everything else for Drag Week Racers. So don’t cancel the vacation plans yet. The route won’t be the same, but the time frame would be, so keep those dates open!

I wish we could give you all the details and info right now, but things are still in the works and still not confirmed. But know that there is a promoter out there working to make this a reality for everyone.

Until we have 100% confirmation we won’t say anything more. But rest assured that when it is 100% we will tell the world.
